Catapalooza -- A Success!

Owl catching up on her winks.
WOW!!! 27 out of 38 cats received applications during our Catapalooza event. Here's a photo of one of the kitties still waiting for someone to pick her. Maybe one of the new adopters will visit again and take Owl, too. There was so much excitement yesterday; this chubby calico spent a good portion of her day hiding safely in her condo. Today she's comfy and catching up on her beauty sleep.

I think what she needs is a purple bedspread to nap on -- her lovely calico markings will look stunning on a the royal color.  Any empty purple bedspreads out there?  How about royal blue?  Pink might be nice, too.  Or green.

  1. Hi Debbie,

We talked yesterday at Catapalooza extravaganza...see, I told you I read the blog! :O) I'm so excited that we had so many applications! I knew that there were a lot of pink cards when I left, but wow, 27 out of 38 is unbelievable. Hopefully we'll be able to fill those condos back up with a bunch more who need great homes. And just in time for kitten season! It was great meeting you yesterday...and I'm looking forward to reading more about Charlotte! Megan Walsh

  2. I also enjoyed meeting you at Catapalooza last weekend! I am coming to pick up Carla on Friday and should probably avoid looking around the cat room unless I want to take home another little friend. It's so easy to fall in love!

  3. Thanks Megan & Lorin. Can't wait 'til I get to post a picture of Carla in her forever home.
We got 10 cats today from Washington Humane Society -- unfortunately, cat condos at the League don't stay empty for long.
